SISTEMA DE GESTÃO DE SEGURANÇA E SAÚDE DO TRABALHO NUMA INDÚSTRIA DE CALÇADO: PROPOSTA E IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DE MODELO DE INTEGRAÇÃO

Introduction: Due to the increased awareness of companies regarding occupational health and safety and their business performance, they are increasingly looking to implement integrated management systems in quality, environment and safety to assert themselves in their markets and to have greater control of all their activities, based on a risk management approach that enables business sustainability. Objective: This project proposes designing and implementing an Occupational Health and Safety Management System based on the NP ISO 45001:2019 standard, integrated into the
existing Management Systems of a footwear manufacturing company. Materials and methods: An initial check was carried out to assess the compliance of the QMS with the respective standard, followed by the drawing up of a planning, design and implementation schedule for the OSHMS. Results and discussion: Based on the results obtained, it was found that after reviewing and drawing up the documentation base for the OSHMS, the company showed a significant increase in compliance with the respective requirements of the NP ISO 45001:2019 standard. Quality, Environment and Safety Management System has enabled the company under study to deepen its knowledge of NP ISO 45001:2019 and to develop a proactive occupational safety culture.
