O PAPEL MEDIADOR DA SATISFAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL E DA SATISFAÇÃO COM A VIDA NA RELAÇÃO ENTRE CONFLITO TRABALHO-FAMÍLIA E BEM-ESTAR: O CASO DO TELETRABALHO
Synopsis
Introduction: In recent years, telecommuting has emerged as a crucial tool for organizing and improving working conditions, both for companies and employees. However, the conflict between work and family and its implications for employees' well-being have been a growingconcern. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effect of the conflict between work and family on job satisfaction, life satisfaction, and well-being of telecommuting workers, as well as to examine the mediating role of job satisfaction and life satisfaction in this relationship. Materials and methods: A sample of 314 participants was analyzed using correlation, regression, and mediation analyses. The participants were working remotely. Results and discussion: It was observed that the conflict between work and family has a direct influence on the well-being of telecommuting employees. However, no significant effects were found on other variables under study. Job satisfaction demonstrated a positive influence on the well-being and life satisfaction of workers, while life satisfaction also had positive effects on well-being. The mediation of the relationship between the conflict between work and family and well-being by job satisfaction and life satisfaction was not confirmed. Application: These results indicate the importance of the conflict between work and family in the well-being of telecommuting workers. This study highlights the need for further research to identify other possible mediators and develop strategies to mitigate the negative effects of the conflict between work and family in the context of telecommuting.
