Sinopse

The following study was carried out with the aim of ergonomically evaluating a workstation to measure the risk of Workrelated Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSD) and, consequently, to take the necessary measures in the corresponding time urgency. The subject of the study was the milkrun’s supply workstation which was assessed using the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire and the Ergonomic Workplace Analysis (EWA) on 6 workers in the study. From it, it was concluded that the most affected body regions were the neck, shoulders, and lumbar region. Then, the selected workstation was assessed using observational methods – Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) and Key Indicator Method (KIM). From the results obtained through these methods, it was possible to conclude that the workstation under study required further investigation and a quick intervention at the ergonomic level. Therefore, measures to improve the ergonomics of the workstation were proposed, such as reducing the height of the milkrun’s shelves, relocating the components to different shelves, among others were suggested.
